opportunity.

some of us were called to go for a short meeting during one of the night of odac orientation. saw some of the sub comm people gathering in the room and i asked them what is this meeting about. they say i will know later... then 2 other friends from my sub comm came in, alex and yew ting. i asked alex and he told me we are nominated by our spo and filtered by the main comm ppl as nominees for the transition main comm. was totally caught by surprise...

today is the day i have to give an answer to odac president, kang hong whether im interested... but im still very uncertain if i really am able to take up the position, if i have proper time management to juggle between cca and academics. this is a rare opportunity for me and i always wanted to prove that im capable of something, so i guess i should treasure what im given. constantly upgrading oneself is what i wish i could do.

uh oh, dont tell me ive got a new idol...

have been searching for her past shows and watch some of her interview videos...
what really bothers me is that i dont understand what she's saying...
like some wei fans who doesnt know chinese, i cant help it but feel something amiss for them.
always wanted to learn cantonese, and this time i think i really got to learn it well!

hoping she will visit sg again!~~~

spiritual attainment!~

finally, im beginning to be more conscious of the welfare of my baby, in fear of injuring it when i bring it to trek... bought a filter to protect the lens. should have bought this long time ago! the next one would be a dry box... and a better lens... haiz.. so much to buy...

i kind of admire some people whom i know who are very willing to spend their hard earned money on trekking trips that cost up to like $700 per trip and camera equipments (very expensive investments). probably coz i feel that's a very good way of spending your money, you achieve much spiritual satisfaction through exploring. that's right, i finally found the right word - to explore! however, it still depends on what makes you happy, some people think buying branded stuff and looking good are what makes them happy, different people different thinking.

suddenly an urge to go online shop after sooo long... bought 4 items, including a tee which i love sooooo much... heh... anticipating the items to arrive in 1 month time~~
