took my second french test today and got an headache while preparing for it. like the first test ive taken, not so prepared... and am really bad in listening but at least able to figure out the telephone no. u will think its easy... but its not... a hp no. with 8 digits with sg area code in french is pronounced as -- soixante cing (65) quatre vingt deux (82) soixante quatorz (74) quarante (40) quarante neuf (49)...

there's comprehension too... similar to the first test, it's about introducing a city, this passage is on a city in france, named La Corse. can only understand some parts here and there... on the last question 'would u want to visit la corse, why or why not'. i answered...

'je voudrais visite la corse. j'aime bon climat... bla bla...' and run out of vocabs so i crapped and wrote ' je voudrais regarde beau homme et belle femme a la corse...' (i will want to see handsome guys and pretty ladies in la corse) initially my idea was to write 看红毛帅哥, but like a bit 花痴 so i added pretty ladies in... ha...

french is really fun though i still haven really grasp that language well... but i will work hard and score~~~ :P

exploring Botanic Garden (BG)~~~

yay, friday, my no school day. woke up at 8am, even earlier than waking up for school.

took train to ochard mrt station and went to Ardmore park condo again, haiz, no luck. anyway, im going BG which is near Gleneagles ;) lost my way from the condo and walked a long way to BG, there is a shorter way which i figured out on my way back. The 'map' to BG which i prepared didnt work :/

reached at 10 plus. was well prepared with sandwich, hello panda, water bottle, slr, photography bk, sketch bk, stationaries. all these kept me alive for like 4 hrs. first 2 hrs were great, drew trees in the breeze (not to mention mosquitoes) and took pics while admiring the scneries. followed by rain and drizzle. :(

after the rain stopped, i walked to Gleneagles, surprised to know it's v. v. near. so many women clinics displayed on the catalogue, which one??? 算了，go home...

its reeeaally fun to be one.. haa... after dinner with my ohana girls, i went to meet wei fans whom ive not met for ages (and i mean years, not months)... and... i had a new discovery, the place i was looking out for is actually around shangrila hotel, orchard.

so after dining at clarke quay the central, my friend, so good in directions led us there and we walked around shangrila but fruitless, we didnt see a big flower pot and white door which we have seen in the hk paparazzi pics... while we walked, i happened to see a sign 'ardmore park' and read it out...

so we went back and my friend's friend (also wei fan) is so damn pro. and i didnt know google map is so cool! there's this street review function which u can navigate ur way virtually with the click of the mouse... she saw the white big flower pot and the door and that place is ardmore park! omg... nth can be more coincidental then this liao. we passed by that condo, scruntinised it but just didnt spot the big flower pot, too dark i guess...

anyway, in the process of being a failed paparazzi, i came across beautiful villas/pent houses/condos in singapore online... these estates are incomplete and are based on artist impression.

Chan Cha Lay Guest House (Seaside theme, nice!!!)

sis searched for this guest house which is more ex than the others. i was telling her be more practical, go for those which has air-con and wireless and of the same price but she insisted on this one coz she said its v. lovely. i complained how impractical but came to realise i love this guest house as much as she does! heh...

after settling our stuff down in the room, i took out my cam and realise NO SD CARD AGAIN!!! shit me... i moaned and slammed on the bed and my sis happened to come into the room after paying, thinking i was still grudging about the room... ok at least there's this kodak near by so i bought a 2gb sd card.

we went to the night bazaar, its like pasar malam but of coz its a different atmosphere~ there are many clothes and food stall and performances too. we then head back to our cozy little abode.

how innovative! love this jar of bulbs...

this is my most fav. area of the room! open air bathroom! sis and i love the concept~ saw a leaf on the floor which makes it closer to nature. wow

all good things come to an end. bye bye to our first night here!

before snorkeling to the island... visited a few islands, our day tour is kinda waste of time though there's a bit of snorkeling, kayaking (sadly, not we kayak). dont like to bask on the beach :/ oh, there's this most beautiful island with pretty corals and monkey hopping ard, its called bamboo island.
